Project implementation

Our wind turbine project implementation encompasses several phases, ranging from site assessment to turbine operation. Some sections are described below:

  1. Site Assessment and Permits: Selecting the optimal site for a wind turbine is crucial. Extensive site assessments must be conducted to consider factors such as wind speed, accessibility, terrain topography, and potential environmental impacts. In addition, permits must be obtained from the relevant authorities to ensure the project complies with local regulations and environmental requirements.
  2. Planning and Development: During this phase, detailed technical plans are prepared. This includes the design of turbine components such as turbines, foundations, cable networks, and transformer substations. Economic analyses and financing models are also developed to assess the project's profitability and attract investors.
  3. Procurement and Construction: Once planning is complete and financing is secured, procurement and construction of the wind turbine can begin. The construction phase also includes the construction of roads, crane pads, foundations, and the erection of the tower, nacelle, and rotor.
  4. System integration and grid connection: After construction, the data and power cables of the individual wind turbines must be connected to ensure smooth operation. This includes the installation of transformer stations and conducting tests to ensure the performance and reliability of the turbine.
  5. Commissioning and operation: Once all technical and regulatory requirements have been met, the wind turbine can be commissioned. Regular maintenance is carried out to ensure the turbine runs efficiently and achieves maximum energy production. Monitoring the turbine, including performance monitoring and fault diagnosis, is also important to ensure uninterrupted operation for 20 to 25 years.

For successful project implementation, close collaboration is required between our engineers, project managers, legal advisors, as well as the licensing authorities, financial experts, and environmental protection experts. Careful project management and compliance with the relevant guidelines and regulations are crucial for success.

From the beginning of the site securing to commissioning, a minimum of four to seven years is currently required. We pre-finance all processes up to commissioning.
